If you have an animal that you would like to turn over to the Humane Society, you must contact the animal coordinator by calling 799-7387 or by emailing HSWT.org@gmail.com for authorization. The HSWT is currently accepting new animals when we can, however, if you have found an animal that you would like to adopt out, we do require that you run a “Lost and Found” ad in the Avalanche-Journal for at least one week, and make a full attempt to find its owner before we will be able to help it find a new home.
We must ask that you do not bring animals to the Wellness clinic or PetSmart adoption events. Because we cannot guarantee their health status, we are required to keep these animals away from our adoptable pets and out of PetSmart.
