Our foster families take animals that are abandoned, stray, abused, neglected or unwanted into their homes. They provide them with safe, warm, loving homes and lots of good food. The animals receive a well animal check, are microchiped, are given vaccines and dewormed and are spayed or neutered. The foster homes socialize these animals to people and other animals. They will work on crate training, potty training, leash training and some obedience training. The devotion and care given during this time allows the animal a second chance to be adopted by a loving home. The rewards of foster care are many. You can watch these animals transform from being lonely and unwanted into loving, happy and grateful pets that are eventually adopted into wonderful loving homes. As a foster you are given the opportunity to share your love for animals and make the most of that last chance for many homeless pets. If you are interested in fostering please contact HSWT at HSWT.org@gmail.com
If you are fostering a pet for HSWT and would like them posted on this website, email me your pets picture and story at hswt.org@gmail.com and I will get it posted as soon as possible. You can also email me stories of successful adoptions and I will post them.
