In addition to the grant received in calendar year 2008 from theRuth Wright Endowment for Animals, we received funding from Petsmart Charities. Because we meet their best practices standards, they contribute $15.00 per adopted animal, the highest available amount, to our organization. These funds help pay for emergency care, surgeries, and long-term care for our rescued animals. Our administrative costs are covered by donations from the general public.
